Step 1:<\/strong> \u00a0Set Multi-Factor Authentication Login Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. From Setup, enter Profiles in the Quick Find box, then select Profiles<\/strong>.<\/li>
  2. Select a profile.<\/li>
  3. Scroll to Session Settings, and find the Session security level required at login<\/strong> setting.<\/li>
  4. Click Edit<\/strong>, and select High Assurance<\/strong>.<\/li>
  5. Click Save<\/strong>.<\/li>
  6. From Setup, enter Session Settings in the Quick Find box, then select Session Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>
  7. In Session Security Levels, make sure that Multi-Factor Authentication<\/strong> is in the High Assurance column.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    If Multi-Factor Authentication is in the Standard column, users get an error when they log in with a method that grants standard-level security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 2:<\/strong> Enable U2F Security Keys for Identity Verification<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. From Setup, enter Session Settings in the Quick Find box, then select Session Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>
    2. Select Let users verify their identity with a physical security key (U2F).<\/li>
    3. Save your changes.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      As with other identity verification methods, you can use standard tools in Salesforce to track users\u2019 security key usage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
